Small keepsake heart stud earrings handcrafted in solid 950 recycled sterling silver. These Everlasting Love stud earrings have been designed for everyday wear and are made with your loved ones ashes set into the silver itself. Solid affordable keepsake jewellery that will last! Ordering Process: After purchase, please place your ashes in a clearly labeled sealed bag or doubled up envelope (not a container, as I will be unable to return it due to your item being sent in a ‘large letter’ sized box). Include your full name and address attached to your keepsake inside the parcel. Note that the process time of 1-6 weeks starts once I receive your keepsake. If you need it sooner, please contact me before ordering to confirm the timeline. Any unused ashes will be returned with your special made order. How they are made, Sizes and Details. All my items are handcrafted and bespoke so there may be small differences between pieces that make them unique. Sometimes the ashes can slightly show in the silver so it looks like the textures shown in the heart earrings in the images, whereas other times it is a lot smoother in appearance. The ashes are added to the sterling silver ‘clay’ (hearts) and then kiln baked, becoming part of the metal itself. So, your keepsake can’t be any more secure (there are no screws or ways for the ashes to fall out, like some designs out there). These Everlasting Love stud earrings are made using 950 sterling silver clay hand-pressed into a mold and then the ashes are added piece by piece once I am happy with the final shape. This is to ensure no ashes are mixed beforehand and accidentally discarded. I then place them in my kiln to dry before final baking. Once baked they becomes solid sterling silver and I then solder the earring posts onto the backs of them. They then get a good polish in the tumbling machine. All my items are handcrafted and although I do try to make each piece identical, there will be some very small differences that make them unique. Earrings measure approximately: 6 mm x 6 mm, 3 mm deep and posts 10 mm with large butterfly backs. For more information please read the ‘Description’ section below.
