Nous B2Z smart Tuya Zigbee mini relay module, with power meter and switch input, 1-gang

One of the new products from the European Nous brand is the Nous B2Z 1-gang smart relay with power consumption meter, equipped with a Tuya Zigbee chip. It can be installed in in-wall boxes behind sockets or light switches to control and measure their consumption or to control and measure any other device with a maximum of 16A.  The Nous B2Z relay module is equipped with a Tuya Zigbee chip, which needs to be connected to a Tuya Zigbee gateway for remote control using the Tuya / SmartLife smartphone app.  What is the Tuya / SmartLife smart home platform and app?  Tuya is a popular cloud-based smart home platform that offers integrated solutions for various smart home devices and applications. The platform allows for quick and easy pairing, remote control, and management of devices through a single app interface. Known as Tuya or SmartLife, it provides users with a comprehensive smart home ecosystem that includes devices from numerous manufacturers. It supports voice control, remote access, and automated processes (scenes). They can be used with the Nous app or the standard Tuya app. The Nous B2Z Tuya Zigbee smart switch module is a 1-gang smart relay module with a built-in power consumption meter. It supports 100-240V AC or 24-30V DC power supply and can be connected to Nous’s own Zigbee gateway or other standard Tuya Zigbee gateways using the built-in Tuya Zigbee chip. The device can be controlled via smartphone using the Nous app, but it can also be used with the Tuya app, which according to user experiences, offers more functions.  Thanks to its small size, it fits into standard depth wall mounting boxes behind traditional light switches and sockets, allowing not only control but also measurement of their consumption. It has an input for the light switch, so the wall switches made smart with its help remain usable as before. The Nous B2Z is a relay module for the Tuya smart home system, primarily operating in cloud mode. However, with Tuya Zigbee gateways that can cache and run automations locally, it can operate its automations without an internet connection.  When connected to a Tuya Zigbee gateway, it supports voice control via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and (for iOS phones) Siri.
